This establishment has provided me with a host of great hospitality on each occasion. The food is ALWAYS fresh and cooked on demand. Upon arrival the owner gave me a courteous 10% discount, a free fish fillet, and a cup of Kool aid for waiting an extended period of time. This cozy little spot may be small in size and menu, but it delivers big when it comes to flavor and comfort. I ordered the fried pork chops, and let me tell you—these were the real deal. Perfectly seasoned and fried to golden perfection, they tasted just like the ones I remember growing up. Every bite brought back memories of Sunday dinners and family gatherings. The sides deserve just as much praise. The collard greens were tender and well-seasoned, and the candied yams? Absolutely spot-on delicious! My wife raved about her fried catfish, which was crispy on the outside and flaky inside, and her pinto beans were rich and satisfying. We didn’t get a chance to try the fried ribs this time, but you better believe we’re coming back for them. In short: Lilly Mae’s is the kind of place where the food speaks for itself. Best soul food I’ve had in a very long time! I ordered the catfish, greens and Mac n cheese. So good I had to call and tell them about it! They even offered to bring my order to my car when it was ready. Definitely going back to try the fried ribs and going any time I’m in Killeen. Y'all gotta go try it

I am in town for training and wanted something that is not mainstream. That is how I found this location. It was delicious and the gentleman were very welcoming. The reason for the four stars for atmosphere is because of the music that was playing. Not everyone that enters your facility listens to that kind of music.

Lilly Mae's has never let me down when it comes to the fried ribs. I had no idea where they had moved to after first having tried the food years ago, until I saw a couple of workers walk out of the back that I remembered. I knew then I was in the right place for Fried Ribs. My greens weren't as good as what I remembered, and my Mac in Cheese was ok. The banana pudding was also ok. The Kool-aid was on point, and the service was all with smiles. I felt like I was at home while waiting for my food. I recommend if you want the best Fried Ribs in town.

First time trying Lilly Mae Kitchen we got delivery and it was still hot when the food arrived! Those ribs make you want to go back to cooking school. Flavorful tender and fresh to order. The sides were too spicy I love a little spice but not where it takes the quality away from the greens or beans. The Mac n cheese wasn’t good but tasted like boxed mac n cheeses overall I enjoyed the ribs if I order again I wouldn’t get sides make sure customers know the sides maybe spicy because my acid reflux was on 99.9999

Babyyyyy. In my Louisiana slain voice? When I tell you, Ms Lilly Mae out done herself with this food!!! Almost bit my fingers lol. It was amazing So my husband and I have date night twice a week so we wanted to eat somewhere different. So I looked up restaurants downtown Killeen. This place popped up, So we heard there around 6. When we walked in Ms Lilly Mae was just sitting in the corner. We turned around and waved at her. She looked like the sweetest little lady that you ever seen and I guess her daughter. La Sonya is the one that took our order. My husband and I both got catfish plates. He got macaroni and greens, and I got pinto beans and yams, and let me tell you. That fish was so good.Everything was good, but that fish O.M.G. Ms. LillyMea, you did the dang thang. Oh, and for dessert, I got some banana pudding. Haven't quite tasted that yet. Because I'm so full with everything else I just ate, but I would definitely, come back and let you know about that Ya'll we definitely will be back again. My husband loved the fish and everything he ordered.
